The incident, which unfolded on Road No 1, has drawn police attention as tensions between two local shop owners boiled over into a public scuffle.

Background of the Conflict

The roots of the conflict trace back to Thursday, when a dispute reportedly erupted between operators of Anmol Jewellers and Dalwani Bazaar over the parking of a vehicle outside their establishments. During the initial argument, a vehicle was allegedly damaged, further straining relations between the two parties and setting the stage for Friday's violent confrontation.

Friday's Escalation

On Friday, the issue resurfaced when the operator of Dalwani Bazaar reportedly demanded that the Anmol Jewellers side arrange for repairs to the damaged motorcycle. What began as a discussion quickly devolved into a heated exchange, with members from both sides confronting each other. The verbal spat rapidly spiraled into a physical fight, with blows exchanged in full public view.

Injuries and Immediate Aftermath

The clash resulted in injuries to four persons. From Dalwani Bazaar, Honey Dalwani and Shankar Dalwani sustained wounds, while from Anmol Jewellers, Akshat and Rajesh were also injured. Alert local residents intervened promptly to separate the groups, preventing the situation from deteriorating further. All four injured individuals were rushed to the district hospital in Mandsaur, where they are currently undergoing medical treatment.

Police Response and Investigation

Police authorities reached the spot shortly after the incident and have initiated a thorough investigation. Officers are in the process of recording detailed statements from both sides to piece together the sequence of events and determine the exact causes of the escalation. The involvement of law enforcement underscores the seriousness with which the local administration is treating this public disturbance.

ASP TS Baghel confirmed that the confrontation involved the operators of Anmol Jewellers and Dalwani Bazaar, highlighting how a seemingly trivial parking issue can escalate into violence if not resolved amicably.
