LPG Cylinder Leak Causes Scare at Mela Campus

In an unrelated incident on the same day, panic spread through the Kalpwasi tents in Sector 4 of the Mela campus. The cause of the alarm was a leakage of LPG gas from a domestic cylinder.

Once alerted, a team from the local fire department rushed to the location. The firefighters successfully managed to control and stop the gas leakage. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported as a result of this scare.
