TN Police Reshuffle: Seema Aggarwal to Lead Fire Commission

The Tamil Nadu government on Friday announced a series of senior-level police appointments, naming Director General of Police (DGP) Seema Aggarwal as Chairperson of the Tamil Nadu Fire Commission ahead of her retirement from service on June 30.

Key Appointments in Tamil Nadu Police

Seema Aggarwal, who currently serves as the Director of Fire and Rescue Services, was appointed to head the Fire Commission as part of the latest administrative reshuffle in the state's police establishment.

Sandeep Mittal to Lead TNUSRB

In another key appointment, DGP Sandeep Mittal was posted as the Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB). The board is responsible for conducting recruitment for various uniformed services, including the police, fire and rescue services, and prison departments.

R. Dhinakaran as ADGP Armed Reserve

The government also appointed Additional Director General of Police R. Dhinakaran as the ADGP, Armed Reserve. He will oversee the functioning and administration of the Armed Reserve wing of the Tamil Nadu Police.
