Two Men Found Dead in Separate Incidents in Pilibhit City
Police in Pilibhit city are investigating two separate deaths that occurred since Sunday night. The bodies of two men were discovered at different locations, with one case involving a hanging and the other showing signs of possible poisoning.
First Incident: Hanging in Rajiv Colony
The first incident was reported from Rajiv Colony around 9 pm on Sunday. A 25-year-old man named Naresh Kumar was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside his house. Family members discovered the body and were unable to explain why he took such an extreme step.
Authorities sent the body for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. The family has cooperated with the investigation so far.
Second Incident: Property Dealer Found Dead Near Assam Road
In a separate case, a 50-year-old property dealer named Ramautar Yadav was found dead on Monday morning. Yadav lived in village Rooppur Kamalu and had gone out for his routine morning walk around 6 am.
When he did not return home, family members began searching for him. They received information about a body lying near the Ramlila ground, close to Assam Road crossing. Upon rushing to the spot, they identified the body as that of Yadav.
Police Investigation and Evidence
Sungarhi Station House Officer Naresh Kumar Tyagi provided details about the second case. Police found packing material of Celphos near Yadav's body. Celphos is a highly poisonous fumigant commonly used in agriculture.
The discovery of this material suggests possible poisoning, though authorities await the postmortem report for confirmation. In this case, the family of the deceased has declined an autopsy, which may complicate the investigation.
Police continue to investigate both incidents separately. They are looking into possible motives and circumstances surrounding each death. The community remains concerned as authorities work to determine what happened to these two men in Pilibhit city.
