Children Go Missing After Piggy Bank Incident
The incident unfolded on January 13 when a woman from Nawabganj raised an alarm. She contacted Dial-112 around 11:30 am to report that her three children had gone missing. The Ajgain police station immediately responded to the distress call.
Officers rushed to the spot and initiated a preliminary enquiry. During their investigation, police uncovered a surprising detail. The children had broken their grandmother's piggy bank and taken out some money. This act led to a scolding from their family members.
Upset over the reprimand, the two minor girls and the boy decided to leave home without informing anyone. Their disappearance prompted the registration of an FIR under Section 137(2) of the BNS at the Ajgain police station.
Intensive Search Operation Launched
Unnao SSP Jai Prakash Singh took immediate charge of the situation. He directed a comprehensive search operation under the supervision of ASP (South) Premchand and CO Hasanganj Arvind Kumar Chaurasia. The police team left no stone unturned in their efforts to locate the missing kids.
They meticulously scanned nearby areas and examined potential railway routes. Analysis of CCTV footage played a crucial role in tracking the children's movements. The dedicated efforts of the police personnel finally yielded positive results on Wednesday.
