PATNA: A woman in Bihar's Begusarai was allegedly gang-raped by five men who barged into her house late at night, locked her husband inside a room, and subjected her to a brutal assault. The incident occurred on June 11 near Chakiya Police Station. The survivor was later admitted to a hospital after complaining of severe lower abdominal pain.

During treatment, doctors discovered and removed a live bullet, a stone, and a piece of wood from her private part, exposing the extent of the alleged brutality. According to the survivor's statement, she had gone to the toilet around 11:30 pm when five men forcibly entered her house. They allegedly locked her husband in a room. When she returned, the accused gagged her and attacked her.

The accused men are currently absconding. Police have launched an investigation into the case. Authorities are searching for the suspects and have urged the public to come forward with any information. The survivor is receiving medical care and support from local women's groups.
