In a terrifying daylight incident, a woman residing in Bhajanpura, Delhi, was allegedly held at knife-point and robbed inside her own home on Wednesday. The Delhi Police confirmed the arrest of three individuals in connection with the audacious crime that has sent shockwaves through the locality.
The Deceptive Entry and Terrifying Ordeal
The harrowing episode unfolded around 1:15 PM on Wednesday when the woman was at home with her two young children. Her son first noticed two unfamiliar men loitering outside their apartment. The men, employing a clever ruse, claimed they were present to check the Wi-Fi connection, thereby convincing the family to grant them entry.
Once inside, the situation escalated rapidly. As per the victim's complaint to the police, a third accomplice joined the two men. In a coordinated move, two of the intruders confined the woman's children inside a bathroom, isolating them from their mother. The third robber then entered the woman's bedroom, brandished a knife, and threatened her.
Loot Worth Lakhs Stolen in Minutes
The armed assailants then proceeded to ransack the house. They targeted a cupboard and made off with a significant amount of cash. The robbers stole Rs 3 lakh in cash that was stored there. Not stopping at the money, they also took precious jewellery belonging to the woman, which included gold earrings weighing approximately four grams and some broken silver anklets. The entire operation, from deceptive entry to fleeing with the loot, was executed within a short span, leaving the family traumatized.

Following the crime, the victim immediately alerted the police. Acting swiftly on her complaint, the Delhi Police teams launched an investigation and managed to apprehend all three accused persons.
