He noted that Acharya played a pivotal role in defining socialism while fiercely advocating for the rights of farmers and laborers. The SP chief underscored his party's dedication to following Acharya's path, reaffirming their commitment to his ideals.

Acharya's multifaceted legacy was further elaborated by Yadav, who pointed out that Acharya dedicated his life to education and socialism. He served as the Acharya of Kashi Vidyapeeth and held the position of vice chancellor at both Lucknow University and Banaras Hindu University. Despite his academic pursuits, Acharya was imprisoned multiple times during his national service, demonstrating his resilience and dedication.

Political and Ideological Beliefs

Yadav emphasized that Acharya Narendra Dev had a profound faith in the Indian Constitution and was a staunch supporter of secularism and a democratic socialist system. This belief system, according to Yadav, continues to inspire the Samajwadi Party's political framework and actions.

The event also saw tributes from other prominent leaders, including Leader of Opposition in the assembly Mata Prasad Pandey and SP national secretary and former cabinet minister Rajendra Chaudhary, who joined in honoring Acharya's memory.
