Arunachal BJP President Appeals to Assam Voters for Development-Oriented Governance

In a significant political appeal, Arunachal Pradesh BJP president Kaling Moyong has urged the people of Assam to cast their votes in favor of good governance, development-focused policies, and democratic principles aimed at nation-building. He made this call during his participation in the 131st edition of the Mann Ki Baat programme, held at Bhaliphukri in Biswanath, Assam, on Sunday.

Emphasis on Mann Ki Baat in Election Context

Moyong highlighted the crucial role of the Mann Ki Baat programme, particularly in the context of the upcoming Assam assembly elections. According to a party statement, he stressed that such initiatives foster public engagement and align with the BJP's commitment to transparent and accountable governance. This remark underscores the party's strategy to leverage national programmes for local electoral gains.

Coordinated Development Between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh

Moyong pointed out that both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are currently governed by the same political party, the BJP. He emphasized that this shared leadership has led to a strong mutual understanding, which is clearly reflected in their coordinated development efforts. This synergy, he argued, benefits both states through enhanced infrastructure projects, economic initiatives, and social welfare schemes.

Arunachal's Electoral Success as a Model

Referencing recent electoral outcomes, Moyong noted that the people of Arunachal Pradesh have demonstrated substantial faith in the BJP. In the 2024 assembly elections, the party secured 46 out of 60 MLA seats, and in the recent local body elections, it won approximately 90% of the seats. He presented this as a testament to the party's effective governance and development-oriented approach.

Confidence in Assam's Voting Pattern

Expressing optimism, Moyong conveyed his confidence that the people of Assam will once again vote for the BJP in the assembly polls. He appealed to voters to reject family-based politics and instead support policies that prioritize national progress and regional development. This appeal aligns with the BJP's broader campaign themes of stability and growth.

The event at Bhaliphukri served as a platform for Moyong to reinforce the BJP's message ahead of the elections, focusing on unity, development, and democratic values across the northeastern states.
