BJP hits back at Tejashwi Yadav over TRE-4 remarks

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday launched a sharp counterattack against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav over his comments on the TRE-4 recruitment drive. Party spokesperson Prem Ranjan Patel did not mince words, accusing Yadav of attempting to mislead the people of Bihar, particularly the state's self-respecting youth.

BJP Spokesperson's Strong Rebuttal

Patel stated, “The ‘Prince of corruption and kingpin of the land-for-jobs scam’ shows his desperation while trying to mislead the people of Bihar and its self-respecting youth.” He emphasized that the recruitment drives for TRE-1 and TRE-2, which the opposition is trying to claim credit for, were entirely part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government's vision, including the action plan, financial approvals, and policy framework.

Patel alleged that those who “for 15 years pushed Bihar into an era of kidnapping industry” and later “orchestrated the land-for-jobs scam” are now pretending to be concerned about youth welfare. He asserted, “The NDA government remains fully committed to employment, transparency, and the bright future of Bihar’s youth rather than resorting to populist gimmicks. It is working through a systematic, policy-driven, and transparent approach.”

NDA Government's Commitment

The BJP spokesperson further added that the youth of Bihar are well aware of who pushed them back into the “lantern era” and who is working towards a “digital and developed Bihar” with employment opportunities. “The NDA government will fulfil every promise it has made to the youth of Bihar,” Patel concluded.

This exchange highlights the ongoing political tussle between the ruling NDA and the opposition RJD in Bihar, with both sides seeking to win over the crucial youth vote ahead of upcoming elections. The TRE-4 recruitment issue has become a flashpoint, with the opposition accusing the government of irregularities and the government defending its record on job creation and transparency.
