BJP Concludes North-East Zone Training Workshop in Varanasi
The Bharatiya Janata Party's state-level training workshop for the north-east zone, covering Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Bihar, concluded on Thursday. This event was part of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Mahaabhiyan-2026 and took place at the Central Tibetan Higher Education Institute in Sarnath, Varanasi. The workshop focused on ideological commitment and organizational strategy, aiming to strengthen the party from the grassroots to the national level.
Senior Leaders Emphasize Nation-Building Through Organization
Senior office-bearers, public representatives, and prominent leaders from all three states participated in the meeting. They engaged in detailed deliberations on enhancing the party's structure and effectiveness. Addressing the inaugural session, national co-organisation general secretary Shiv Prakash highlighted the BJP's core objective: nation-building through organization building, which in turn relies on individual development.
Shiv Prakash described the training campaign as a "mahayagya of nation building," emphasizing that training is a continuous process essential for the intellectual and ideological growth of workers. He noted that as the world's largest organization, the BJP faces increased responsibilities and challenges. To meet public expectations, it is crucial for workers to be well-trained. He stressed the importance of conducting training classes with simplicity and social cooperation, while imbibing values such as social harmony, self-reliance, swadeshi thinking, discipline, and national sentiment.
Upcoming Workshops and Detailed Discussions
National general secretary Tarun Chugh outlined the future schedule for the training mahaabhiyan. Divisional level workshops are planned from March 7 to April 14, followed by district level workshops from April 15 to May 20. After these, state-level training sessions will be conducted to further consolidate the efforts.
During the program, the third and fourth sessions featured group discussions on a total of 14 critical topics, organized through seven teams. These topics included:
- BJP's history and development
- Election management strategies
- Ideological foundation of the party
- Role of coordination within the organization
- Work methodology for effective governance
- Concept of the ideological family
- Organizational expansion techniques
- Worker development programs
- Booth management for electoral success
- Office operations and efficiency
- Government achievements and their communication
- Modi government schemes and their implementation
- Social media strategies and the Namo app
- AI-based Saral app and technological integration
- Challenges facing the nation and party's role
The workshop concluded with a renewed focus on strengthening the party's resolve for nation-building, ensuring that workers are equipped with the necessary skills and ideology to contribute effectively to the BJP's mission.
