Hyderabad: Telangana BJP chief N Ramchander Rao asserted that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has no moral right to criticise Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay and the BJP, accusing the party of orchestrating a political conspiracy to defame Sanjay and his family.

Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, Ramchander Rao stated that Bandi Sanjay had done nothing wrong and emphasised that the BJP would not hesitate to take action if any wrongdoing is established. He accused the BRS of spending crores of rupees on a targeted campaign against Sanjay and his son instead of focusing on pressing public issues.
Legal Process Respected
Referring to the case involving Bageerath, the BJP chief noted that the bail petition is pending and highlighted that Bageerath had already surrendered before the authorities in accordance with the law. He said this demonstrated respect for the legal process and rejected allegations that the family was trying to evade investigation.
Ramchander Rao further criticised the BRS for diverting attention from developmental work and engaging in baseless accusations. He reiterated the BJP's commitment to transparency and accountability, stating that the party stands firmly with Bandi Sanjay.
