Leader of the Opposition in Punjab, Partap Singh Bajwa, has stated that all Congress MLAs are united on the matter concerning the Sri Akal Takht Sahib and share a common stand. He announced that the party would submit a letter to the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, which would be made public after the meeting.

Speaking to reporters, Bajwa emphasized the unity within the Congress legislature party on this issue. “All Congress MLAs are united and have a common position. We will submit a letter to the Jathedar, and after the meeting, the contents will be made public,” he said.

Individual Views Also to Be Shared

Congress MLA Pargat Singh added that while all party legislators have a unified stance, they are also prepared to share their individual perspectives if asked during the proceedings. “We all have a common position, but if the Jathedar asks for individual views, we will share them,” Singh stated.
