Beneficiaries now receive real-time SMS alerts once pensions are credited directly to their bank accounts. This system enables hassle-free withdrawals without repeated visits to government offices, ensuring convenience and efficiency.
Contrast with Previous Congress Regime
Drawing a contrast with the previous Congress regime, the CM claimed that senior citizens earlier faced long delays, sometimes waiting months for payments. They had to make multiple visits to offices, often in extreme weather conditions, which added to their difficulties. In comparison, the current system is designed to minimize such hardships.
