Kerala SPC Camp Aikya 2026 Begins in Thiruvananthapuram

The annual state-level residential camp of the Student Police Cadet (SPC) project, named ‘Aikya 2026’, is set to commence at VPS Malankara Higher Secondary School in Venganoor, Thiruvananthapuram, on Wednesday. This six-day camp will culminate with a ceremonial parade, marking the end of an intensive schedule designed to foster leadership and social responsibility among young cadets.

Flagship Initiative of Kerala Police

Organized by the Kerala Police, this camp stands as one of the flagship initiatives under the SPC project. It will bring together 939 cadets selected from various districts across the state, representing a diverse cross-section of student talent. The theme for this year’s camp is gender inclusivity, with a strong emphasis on promoting equality and social awareness among students.

Comprehensive Programme for Cadets

A series of programmes aimed at personality development, leadership skills, and social commitment have been meticulously planned as part of the residential camp. Throughout the sessions, cadets will have the opportunity to interact with civil service officers, cultural personalities, media professionals, and film actors. These interactions are intended to provide real-world insights and inspiration for the young participants.
