Couple Found Dead in Gwalior Village

A newlywed couple was discovered hanging from the ceiling of their home in Hastinapur village, located in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district, police reported on Sunday. The incident came to light shortly after midnight, according to officials.

Victims Identified

The deceased have been identified as Vinod Prajapati, 22, and his wife Laxmi, 20. Their bodies were found in a room of their residence in Hastinapur, approximately 35 kilometers from the district headquarters.

Hastinapur police station house officer Devendra Lodhi stated that the couple had been married for 14 months. A preliminary investigation indicates that the pair were not getting along well, suggesting marital discord as a possible factor.

No Suicide Note Recovered

Police have not recovered any suicide note from the scene. A forensic team was called to examine the premises, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
