PM Modi Urges Quality Focus to Leverage Trade Pacts for Jobs

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that trade agreements with various countries have opened new markets for Indian industries and created fresh opportunities for Indian professionals. He urged businesses and youth to make the best use of these opportunities at an event where he distributed incentives under the Prime Minister Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY).

Trade Pacts Open Global Avenues

Modi noted that India has signed free trade agreements with nearly 40 countries, creating new avenues for Indian brands in global markets. He emphasized that the country must focus on quality to remain competitive internationally.

"There is one key formula to take advantage of all these opportunities. That formula is quality — quality in education, quality in skills, quality in services, quality in products and even quality in packaging," he said. "If we want to sustain ourselves in the global market, we must meet the highest international standards and make excellence our identity."
