Police Investigation

The Jalandhar police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including causing death by negligence and rash driving. A manhunt has been launched to trace the absconding driver. Police are also examining CCTV footage from the area to identify the vehicle and its driver.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jalandhar said, "We have formed teams to nab the accused. The vehicle has been identified, and we are confident of an early arrest." The family of the victim has demanded strict action against the driver.
