CM Yogi Adityanath Mandates FIRs for False Inquiry Reports, Demands Swift Grievance Resolution

In a firm directive aimed at enhancing administrative accountability, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered officials to file First Information Reports (FIRs) against individuals found submitting false or misleading inquiry reports in official matters. The Chief Minister issued this stern warning during the Janata Darshan program held at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur on Saturday, where he interacted directly with approximately 150 complainants.

Zero Tolerance for Delays and Negligence

Emphasizing that any delay in addressing public grievances would be "inexcusable", CM Yogi Adityanath instructed administrative and police officers to ensure the time-bound, impartial, and quality disposal of all complaints. He explicitly stated that every case must undergo a fair investigation before closure, and if any incorrect report is identified, the responsible person must be pinpointed and an FIR registered against them.

The Chief Minister's directive came in response to allegations from several complainants who reported that misleading reports had been attached to their cases. Taking serious note of these claims, Yogi Adityanath warned that negligence or deliberate delays in assisting victims would invite strict disciplinary and legal action. He further stressed that authorities must take firm legal measures in cases related to alleged land encroachment, ensuring justice is served without unnecessary postponements.

Addressing Systemic Challenges and Medical Assistance Requests

In addition to tackling false reporting, the Chief Minister directed officials to identify and resolve any systemic challenges that hinder the effective resolution of victims' problems. He made it clear that strict action would be taken against anyone who deliberately delays cases at any level of the administration, reinforcing his commitment to transparent and efficient governance.

As has been observed in previous Janata Darshan sessions, numerous individuals sought financial assistance for medical treatments. Responding to these appeals, CM Yogi Adityanath asked officials to expedite the preparation of hospital estimates and forward them promptly to the government. He assured that adequate help would be provided from the Chief Minister's discretionary fund to support those in need, highlighting his focus on compassionate and responsive public service.

Spiritual and Cultural Engagements Preceding the Public Interaction

Earlier in the morning, before the Janata Darshan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath engaged in spiritual activities at Gorakhnath Temple. He offered prayers, paid homage to his guru, Mahant Avaidyanath, and visited the temple cowshed, where he fed jaggery to cows. These actions underscore his deep-rooted connection to the cultural and religious heritage of the region, blending spiritual reverence with his administrative duties.

This comprehensive approach during the Gorakhpur visit demonstrates CM Yogi Adityanath's dual focus on administrative rigor and public welfare, setting a clear precedent for accountability and efficiency in Uttar Pradesh's governance framework.
