Yogi Adityanath Backs SIT Investigation in Ram Mandir Donation Controversy
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has strongly defended the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the Ram Mandir donation row, asserting that the inquiry was launched at the behest of the temple trust and will bring the truth to light. Addressing critics, he accused opposition parties of hypocrisy and urged anyone with evidence to come forward and cooperate with the investigators.
Political Debate Intensifies Over Transparency
The controversy has sparked a broader political debate on accountability and transparency in the management of temple donations. The SIT has already begun inquiries, and the CM emphasized that the probe is impartial and aimed at uncovering facts. He dismissed allegations of a political vendetta, stating that the trust itself sought the investigation to clear the air.
Opposition parties have questioned the timing and motives behind the SIT probe, but Yogi Adityanath remained firm, saying that those with nothing to hide should welcome the inquiry. He reiterated that the truth would prevail and that the investigation would restore public confidence in the donation process.
