Raghunandan Murthy, a 2010-batch IAS officer, has taken charge as the new Managing Director of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). He replaces Sivakumar KB, who was transferred and posted as the Managing Director of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC).

Raghunandan Murthy brings extensive administrative experience to his new role. As a 2010-batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre, he has served in various capacities across the state. His previous assignments include key positions in urban development and transport sectors.
Sivakumar KB's Transfer to KSRTC
Sivakumar KB, the former BMTC MD, has been reassigned to lead KSRTC. The transfer is part of a routine administrative reshuffle aimed at optimizing the management of state transport undertakings. Sivakumar is expected to leverage his experience to improve KSRTC's operational efficiency.
