JJP Youth Wing Holds Strategic Meeting in Kurukshetra, Announces Major Rally

The youth wing of the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) convened its state executive meeting on Saturday at the Punjabi Dharamshala in Kurukshetra, where senior party leaders outlined comprehensive organizational strategies and unveiled a significant political program for the upcoming months.

Key Leaders Present and Organizational Focus

The meeting was attended by prominent figures including former deputy chief minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala, youth JJP state president Digvijay Singh Chautala, and JJP state president Brij Sharma. During the session, senior leaders addressed youth office-bearers from across the state, providing clear directives on strengthening the party's organizational structure.

Emphasis was placed on three core areas:

  • Actively connecting the youth of Haryana with the JJP through outreach initiatives.
  • Taking the party's policies and ideology to the grassroots level for broader impact.
  • Energizing the youth cadre and expanding the party's presence at both booth and district levels.

Major Announcements and Political Program

Addressing the media after the meeting, Dushyant Chautala revealed that several important decisions were made during the state-level deliberations. He announced that a large rally would be organized in Hansi district on March 13 to mark the birth anniversary of Ajay Singh Chautala.

This event will be observed as Yuva Prerna Diwas (Youth Inspiration Day), with preparations already underway to ensure it becomes a grand and impactful program that mobilizes support across the region.

Criticism of Haryana Government

Dushyant Chautala strongly criticized the BJP-led Haryana government, highlighting issues of rising crime and unemployment in the state. He expressed serious concern over the new UGC regulations and thanked a Supreme Court Judge for taking strict cognizance of the matter.

He stated that the youth of Haryana are deeply disappointed with the present administration but are now prepared for every democratic struggle to voice their grievances and demand change.

Targeted Remarks Against Chief Minister

Taking a dig at Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Chautala alleged that while the chief minister is traveling extensively across the country, tangible development remains elusive on the ground in Haryana. He pointed out that even after more than a year in office, no major development project has been announced for Kurukshetra, which is often projected as the chief minister's city.

Chautala further accused the government of cutting old-age pensions and forcing widows and differently abled women to make repeated rounds of government offices to access their rightful benefits, describing these actions as insensitive and bureaucratic hurdles that exacerbate public distress.

Call for Focus on State Development

In his concluding remarks, Dushyant Chautala noted that the chief minister is spending more time in Punjab than in Haryana, urging him to instead prioritize the state's development and progress. This criticism underscores the JJP's stance that the current administration lacks focus on local issues, thereby fueling discontent among residents and youth alike.

The meeting in Kurukshetra thus served as a platform for the JJP youth wing to consolidate its strategies, rally support, and position itself as a vocal opposition force ahead of upcoming political engagements in Haryana.
