MP CM Mohan Yadav Announces District-Level Industry Conclaves, New Satna Industrial Park
MP Govt to Expand Industry Conclaves to District Level

In a significant move to boost industrial growth and employment, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced the state government's plan to expand its industry outreach by taking sector-specific conclaves down to the district level. The announcement came during his address at the Vindhya Trade Fair in Satna on Saturday.

Decentralizing Growth: Conclaves Go Local

The Chief Minister revealed that the successful regional industry conclave model has now received praise from Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. Building on this momentum, the state will now organize focused industry meetings in individual districts. This decentralized approach has already begun with a mining-focused conclave in Katni, and an MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) conclave is now on the cards for Satna.

"The state government stands firmly with entrepreneurs at every step to ensure that MP becomes fully equipped with infrastructure, leads the race of development, and provides employment opportunities to the youth," CM Yadav asserted during his speech.

Satna's New Industrial Hub and Infrastructure Boost

Highlighting Satna's importance as a major trade and commerce center in the Vindhya region, Yadav made a key announcement for the district's industrial future. A new industrial park will be developed on 100 acres of land in Satna to catalyze local industrial development.

The CM also detailed several infrastructure improvements undertaken in the last two years. Air connectivity in the Vindhya region has been enhanced, and helicopter services have been initiated to promote religious tourism. Furthermore, citizens will receive the "gift" of new government bus services in the coming new year.

Subsidies, Support, and Ambitious Budget Targets

The government has launched multiple schemes to support businesses, farmers, and citizens. A notable initiative is the "Rahveer Yojana," which offers an incentive of Rs 25,000 to any individual who helps by taking a road accident victim to the hospital.

On the economic front, the state has set an ambitious target to nearly double its budget to approximately Rs 7 lakh crore over the next five years. To spur job creation, industries that generate employment are being provided assistance of Rs 5,000 per worker toward wages. The hotel industry is being supported with a 30% subsidy provision.

For the agricultural sector, the government is undertaking a massive solar pump drive. 3.2 million farmers are being provided solar pumps at a 90% subsidy. "On a pump costing Rs 60,000, farmers are receiving a subsidy of Rs 53,000. Overall, the state government is providing subsidies amounting to Rs 30,000 crore," Yadav explained. This initiative also aims to free farmers from electricity bills and the hassle of temporary connections.

The government's multi-pronged strategy focuses on empowering youth through both employment and self-employment opportunities, while simultaneously building robust industrial infrastructure across all regions of Madhya Pradesh.
