Punjab losing faith in AAP, claims BJP leader Dhankar

BJP national secretary Om Prakash Dhankar has asserted that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab has failed to meet the expectations of the people, leading to a political shift in the state. Speaking to mediapersons in Bahadurgarh town on Saturday, Dhankar claimed that residents have decided to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Assembly elections.

Wave of Support for BJP in Punjab

Dhankar, who has been touring Punjab extensively, stated that a wave of support for the BJP is clearly visible across the state. He remarked that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann "should not remain in power in Punjab for even a single day," alleging that the Mann government has failed to address public welfare issues.

Sacrilege Issue Remains Sensitive

Highlighting the sacrilege of the Gurus as an extremely sensitive and pressing matter in Punjab, Dhankar accused the state government of not acting in accordance with the sentiments of the people. He added that the people of Punjab are looking for change and see the BJP as a strong alternative.
