Akhilesh Yadav Accuses BJP of Mass Voter Deletion via Form-7 Misuse in UP
SP Chief Alleges BJP's Form-7 Fraud for Voter Deletion

In a significant development ahead of crucial elections, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing them of orchestrating a systematic campaign to delete millions of votes through fraudulent means. During a press conference held in Lucknow on Tuesday, Yadav presented what he described as compelling evidence of institutionalized misuse of Form-7, the official document used for voter list modifications.

Serious Allegations of Electoral Fraud

Akhilesh Yadav directly appealed to the Election Commission of India to file First Information Reports against what he termed "criminal misuse" of Form-7 by BJP workers. The SP chief expressed deep frustration over what he perceived as the Election Commission's silence despite his repeated written memorandums detailing these concerns. "The buck stops at EC," Yadav declared emphatically, suggesting the electoral body should take immediate action or "hoist the BJP flag on top of its offices" if unable to address the alleged fraud.

Shocking Statistics and Modus Operandi

According to Yadav's claims, the BJP has allegedly conspired to delete an astonishing 1,00,99,710 votes across Uttar Pradesh. He revealed a disturbing pattern where BJP workers reportedly received pen-drives containing pre-filled Form-7 documents with all necessary details already printed. "All they have to do is get printouts of these forms and obtain signatures from respective Booth Level Officers," Yadav explained, describing what he called a streamlined process for mass voter deletion.

The Samajwadi Party president asserted that his party's "PDA Praharis" are working overtime to counter this alleged manipulation wherever possible. He presented specific cases to substantiate his claims, including video footage that showed Nand Lal from Jaisinghpur Assembly constituency in Sultanpur district. Despite being illiterate according to the evidence presented, Lal's signature allegedly appeared on 26 forms seeking deletion of his neighbors' votes.

Compelling Video Evidence Presented

In another documented instance from Varanasi's Sewapuri assembly seat, an Anganwadi Booth Level Officer named Najma reportedly received 500 Form-7 documents from a local youth seeking her signature for voter deletions. Yadav emphasized that the individual who delivered these forms could be easily traced and questioned publicly to uncover the source of this alleged operation.

These were among several cases presented before media personnel, all supported by video evidence that Yadav used to bolster his accusation that the BJP was misusing Form-7 under the guise of Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. The systematic nature of these alleged activities suggests a coordinated effort rather than isolated incidents.

Demanding Accountability and Action

Akhilesh Yadav made a strong appeal for immediate registration of FIRs against all individuals involved in what he described as criminal misuse of Form-7. Going beyond mere accusations, he offered practical assistance, announcing that Samajwadi Party leaders stand ready to accompany Election Commission officials on the ground to help expose this alleged fraud.

The press conference highlighted growing concerns about electoral integrity in Uttar Pradesh, with Yadav questioning why the Election Commission and Chief Election Officer remained silent despite detailed written complaints. His dramatic presentation of evidence and specific case studies adds significant weight to allegations that could potentially impact millions of voters if proven true.

As political tensions escalate in the lead-up to elections, this development raises serious questions about voter list management and the mechanisms in place to prevent electoral manipulation. The ball now appears to be in the Election Commission's court to investigate these serious allegations and take appropriate action to maintain public confidence in the democratic process.
