A dominant bowling performance by Sanyam Gill and Ravi Kumar helped Ludhiana bundle out Barnala for a mere 84 runs in 20.5 overs on Friday, securing a comprehensive 216-run victory in the second league match of Group D in the Inter-District Seniors Cricket Tournament for the Katoch Shield Trophy. The two-day match, played at Trident Ground in Barnala, saw Ludhiana collect five points to climb to the top of the group standings.

After Ludhiana declared their second innings at 266 for 8 in 40 overs, Barnala faced a daunting target of 301 runs. In reply, Barnala's batting collapsed under pressure. Sanyam Gill claimed four wickets for 30 runs, while Ravi Kumar also took four for 32. Gurjot Singh chipped in with two wickets for 20 runs, ensuring Barnala were bowled out well short of the target.
Sarthak Tyagi played a blistering knock of 69 off just 37 balls for Ludhiana, hitting six fours and six sixes.
