NTA Deploys 6,669 Observers for NEET UG Re-exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the deployment of 6,669 observers for the NEET UG re-examination scheduled on June 21. This move aims to ensure a smooth and fair conduct of the exam. The NTA has also made Aadhaar verification and CCTV monitoring mandatory at all exam centers.

Stringent Measures for Exam Integrity

In a bid to prevent malpractice, the NTA has introduced several stringent measures. Observers will be stationed at each exam center to monitor the proceedings. Additionally, Aadhaar-based authentication will be used to verify the identity of candidates. Continuous CCTV surveillance will be in place to capture any suspicious activity.

Deployment Details

The 6,669 observers include officials from various government departments. They have been trained to handle any irregularities and ensure compliance with exam protocols. The NTA has also set up a control room to coordinate with observers and address any issues in real-time.

Candidate Guidelines

Candidates are advised to carry their Aadhaar card and admit card to the exam center. They must report at least two hours before the exam start time to complete the verification process. Mobile phones and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

The NEET UG re-exam is being conducted for candidates who faced issues during the original exam on May 7. The NTA has assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a fair and transparent process.
