Bengaluru BDA Aims Guinness Record with 15 Lakh Saplings

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) is set to plant 15 lakh native saplings across the city on June 27 under its Green Bengaluru initiative, with the goal of creating a Guinness World Record.

Event Details

The plantation drive, organized on the occasion of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Jayanti, will take place at Shivaram Karanth Layout, Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout, and Banashankari 6th Stage. It will be led by Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and BDA Chairman NA Haris.

Volunteer Participation

BDA officials have announced that volunteers will be provided free bus transport and breakfast. Each participant will be required to plant 30 saplings and will receive a certificate upon completion. Interested individuals can register at www.greenbengalurubybda.in.
