UP Police Seize Army Uniforms, Arrest Shopkeeper in Bareilly Raid
Bareilly Shopkeeper Arrested for Illegal Army Uniforms

Bareilly: Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested a 28-year-old shopkeeper in Bareilly’s Cantonment area after discovering a cache of unauthorised military gear inside his shop.

National Security Concern

SP (City) Manush Pareek said unauthorised manufacture, storage and sale of army uniforms is a national security concern as such material can be misused by anti-social elements to impersonate security personnel.

Raided on Tip-Off

Acting on a precise tip-off, the Cantt police on Wednesday raided the place and seized 2,100 m of restricted combat-pattern uniform fabric, ready-made army uniforms, caps and official rank badges.
