A fire broke out in a flat at the Aranya Society in Sector-119 of Noida on Monday morning, prompting a large-scale firefighting operation, officials confirmed.
Fire Incident Details
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Sector-113 Police Station. Six fire service tenders were rushed to the spot, and firefighting operations continued at the scene. Officials reported no casualties so far, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
CM Yogi Adityanath Directs Rescue Efforts
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognisance of the incident and directed officials to immediately reach the site and expedite relief and rescue operations. According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the Chief Minister issued instructions to officials to reach the site immediately, accelerate relief and rescue operations, and ensure proper medical treatment for any injured. He also ordered the administration to maintain vigilance at all levels.
Firefighting Operations Underway
Firefighters continued to battle the blaze, with six tenders deployed. No injuries have been reported, and authorities are working to determine the origin of the fire. The society's residents were evacuated as a precaution, and the situation remains under monitoring.
