Punjab law and order worrisome: Congress leader

District Congress Committee president Rajbir Singh Bhullar on Saturday alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab has disappointed the people over the past four and a half years by failing to deliver on its promises. Speaking at a meeting held in Palasaur village, Bhullar said the law and order situation in the state remains worrisome.

Extortion threats and firing incidents

Bhullar claimed that traders and businessmen have been receiving extortion threats, and the common man feels insecure due to frequent incidents of firing. He said the AAP government has not taken adequate steps to curb these activities, leading to a sense of fear among the public.

Congress as a reliable alternative

The Congress leader asserted that people are now looking at the Congress party as a strong and reliable option to address their concerns. He urged party workers to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level to regain the trust of the electorate.
