A 48-year-old rowdy-sheeter, Raju alias Hallu Muraka Raja, was hacked to death by a gang of five in Bengaluru on Saturday evening. The incident took place around 5.30 pm when Raju was returning home after having tea. He had earlier been to a salon, where the assailants reportedly watched him before launching the attack.

According to the police, Raju was walking home when a group of five men on motorcycles began chasing him. They caught up with him and attacked him with sharp weapons, inflicting multiple fatal injuries. Raju died on the spot. The assailants fled the scene after the attack.
