Two Women Die in Separate Road Accidents in Bhadohi District

Two women died in separate road accidents at different locations in Bhadohi district on Thursday. Police officials sent the bodies for postmortem examinations following the tragic incidents.

Motorcycle-Truck Collision Near Achwar Village

A serious collision between a truck and a motorcycle occurred on Thursday afternoon near Achwar village. This area falls under the jurisdiction of the Gyanpur police station.

Sahil, a resident of Piyaropur in Aurai, was traveling to Gyanpur on his motorcycle. His wife Nazrum Begum, aged 25, and another youth named Fariyad, aged 22, were riding with him.

The motorcycle collided with the truck near Achwar village. All three individuals sustained injuries in the accident.

Local residents rushed the injured to a private hospital for immediate medical attention. After receiving primary treatment, authorities transferred all three patients to CHC Aurai.

Doctors at CHC Aurai examined Nazrum Begum and declared her dead. Her husband Sahil and Fariyad remain in critical condition.

Medical personnel referred both injured men to the Trauma Centre in Varanasi due to the severity of their injuries.

Gyanpur Station Officer Rajesh Pratap Singh confirmed that police seized the truck involved in the collision. The truck driver fled the accident scene immediately after the crash. The woman died later in the evening.

Head-On Collision on NH-19 Overbridge

In a separate incident, a head-on collision occurred on the NH-19 overbridge. This accident happened under the Gopiganj police station area on the Varanasi-Prayagraj lane.

A car traveling toward Varanasi was moving in the wrong direction when it collided head-on with a container truck. The container was traveling from Varanasi to Prayagraj in its correct lane.

The car passenger Anjali Tripathi, aged 35, died instantly at the accident site. She was the wife of Ravindra Tripathi and lived in Awas Vikas Colony near Kali Mandir. Her residence falls within the Lalpur Pandepur police station area of Varanasi district.

These two separate accidents on Thursday resulted in the tragic deaths of two women in Bhadohi district. Police investigations into both incidents continue as families mourn their losses.
