Hisar: Two motorcycle-borne youths died after a speeding car hit their bike near Agroha Chowk on Adampur Road in Hisar district late Wednesday night. The victims suffered critical injuries in the impact and later succumbed during treatment at the Agroha Medical College.
Details of the Incident
According to the complaint filed by Asmeer—a resident of Saharanpur district, Uttar Pradesh—the deceased were his cousin Israr and his co-worker Pankaj, a resident of Shamli district, Uttar Pradesh. The three men were living near the Landhari toll plaza, where they were employed in roadside drain construction work.
Asmeer stated that around 11 pm, Israr and Pankaj were returning to Agroha on a contractor's motorcycle after purchasing supplies. A Maruti Suzuki Baleno car, allegedly being driven at high speed and negligently from the Adampur side, rammed directly into their bike. Police said that further investigation is underway to track down the driver.
Police Action
Following the deaths, police took the bodies into custody for post-mortem examination and registered a case against the unidentified car driver.
