Youth murdered with brick at Adampur railway station

A youth was allegedly murdered after being attacked with a brick at Platform No. 1 of Adampur railway station in Hisar, police said. The deceased has been identified as Pradeep, a resident of Indira Colony in Adampur.

Incident Details

According to a complaint filed by the victim's younger brother, Ashok Kumar, Pradeep left home on April 29 to take up painting work in Modakhera village but did not return. The family conducted a search but could not locate him.

Discovery of the Body

On April 30, a neighbour named Mangeram informed the family that Pradeep's body was lying at Adampur railway station. Ashok rushed to the spot and found his brother's body on a platform near a tree. The victim had severe head injuries, and a blood-stained brick with strands of hair was found nearby.

Police Investigation

The Government Railway Police (GRP) has registered a case under Section 103 (murder) of the BNS against unidentified persons and initiated an investigation. The police are examining CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to identify the accused.
