Chandigarh: BJP national president Nitin Nabin will commence a three-day tour of Punjab starting June 20. According to Punjab BJP general secretary Anil Sarin, the visit will include religious, organizational, and outreach activities across Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Ludhiana.
Day One: June 20 - Amritsar
Nabin will begin his trip by offering prayers at Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar. He will also visit Jallianwala Bagh, Sri Durgiana Mandir, and Sri Ram Tirath Mandir before heading to Jalandhar, where party workers are set to welcome him.
Day Two: June 21 - Jalandhar and Ludhiana
On June 21, the BJP president will take part in International Yoga Day celebrations at Lovely Professional University. Later, he will travel to Ludhiana to inaugurate the district BJP office on Dugri Road. He is scheduled to hold meetings with organizational functionaries and interact with industrialists and business community representatives.
Day Three: June 22 - Conclaves and Meetings
The final day of the visit will feature meetings with MPs, former MPs, MLAs, former MLAs, and youth representatives. A youth conclave and separate meetings with state office-bearers, district presidents, and the Punjab BJP core group are also on the agenda.
This visit comes shortly after Kewal Singh Dhillon assumed charge as Punjab BJP president, as the party strengthens its organization ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.
