President Droupadi Murmu is set to inaugurate the Brahma Kumaris' ambitious statewide campaign, titled 'Golden Era of Maharashtra through Unity and Trust', at Vishwa Shanti Sarovar in Jamtha, Nagpur, on Wednesday. The event marks a significant initiative aimed at fostering social harmony and human values across Maharashtra.

In anticipation of the President's visit, the district administration has implemented elaborate security and logistical arrangements. Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari conducted a thorough review of preparedness across various departments, directing government agencies to ensure seamless coordination and strict adherence to security protocols.
A multi-layered security plan has been activated, with prior registration made mandatory for all attendees. Participants have been instructed to carry their original Aadhaar cards and valid identification documents while fully complying with established security guidelines.

The 'Golden Era of Maharashtra through Unity and Trust' campaign seeks to promote trust, harmony, unity, and respect for human values throughout the state. The Brahma Kumaris have outlined eight guiding principles for this initiative, which include:

The program will be attended by several dignitaries, including Governor Acharya Devvrat, State Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and senior functionaries of the Brahma Kumaris organization. Traffic Management and Movement Plan
In view of the President's visit, Nagpur city traffic police have announced comprehensive diversions and restrictions on heavy vehicles to facilitate uninterrupted movement along her route on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.
President Murmu is scheduled to arrive at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport at approximately 5:20 PM on Wednesday and will proceed directly to Vishwa Shanti Sarovar in Jamtha. She will stay overnight at Lok Bhavan in Civil Lines before departing for the airport at around 9:50 AM on Thursday.
Detailed Traffic Diversion Plan
The traffic management plan includes specific diversions for various routes:
- Heavy vehicles heading towards Nagpur, Jabalpur, or Bhandara will be diverted at Dongargaon Toll Plaza via Gumgaon to Samruddhi Zero Circle
- Traffic from Butibori will be rerouted through Datala village
- Vehicles arriving from Amravati via the Samruddhi Mahamarg will be regulated at the Samruddhi Zero Circle–Vrindavan junction
- Heavy vehicles traveling from Panjara Toll Plaza towards Wardha will be diverted through Samruddhi Zero Circle–Datala–Butibori
Police officials have confirmed that personnel will be deployed at key junctions to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent congestion during the President's visit.
