Police Investigation

A police team arrived at the scene, conducted an inspection, and sent the body for a post-mortem examination. During the preliminary investigation, no suicide note was found. However, scrutiny of Nitin's mobile phone and statements from family members revealed that he had been in touch with a young woman from Lalitpur over the phone. Police stated that the two had stopped communicating recently and suspect that Nitin may have been distressed over unreciprocated feelings. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the suicide.
