BJP leader Brij Bhushan Singh has claimed that common devotees are finding it increasingly difficult to reach Ayodhya due to extensive barricading in and around the city. Speaking to reporters, Singh alleged that the barricades, set up for security and crowd management, are causing major inconvenience to pilgrims visiting the Ram Temple.
Allegations of Payment for Removal
Singh further alleged that the barricades are being removed only after a payment of Rs 200. He stated that this practice is unfair and goes against the spirit of free access to the temple. The remarks have sparked a political row, with opposition parties demanding an inquiry.
Government Response
Local administration officials have denied the allegations, stating that barricades are placed for safety and are removed as needed without any charges. They have urged the public to report any irregularities.
