BJP Minister Denies Role in Sena Exit, Advises Raut Yoga

Mumbai: BJP minister Girish Mahajan denied allegations of a BJP hand in the likely exit of six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs and said the party could see the exit of corporators too in the coming days.

Denial of BJP Involvement

Denying that the BJP had a hand in any of it, he said Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut’s caustic words were enough to drive partymen away. “People leave because they are upset with what he says,” said Mahajan.

Advice to Raut

He advised Raut to take up yoga. “He should do some yogasanas and calm down,” said Mahajan.

Mocking Raut's Statement

He mocked Raut’s statement that traitors would be taught a lesson by the party cadre. “They have no cadre left. Their people have left the party after it started supporting the Congress and Rahul Gandhi as a prime ministerial candidate. The true Shiv sainiks could not tolerate this,” said Mahajan.
