A tragic incident unfolded in Hyderabad on Monday morning. A retired assistant sub inspector died from a heart attack while watching a movie in a theater.

Retired Police Officer Collapses in Cinema Hall

The deceased was identified as Anand Kumar. He was 64 years old and lived in Kondapur. Anand Kumar went to Arjun cinema hall in Kukatpally to watch Chiranjeevi's latest film, 'Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu'.

Audience Members Notice Motionless Figure

The screening began normally. Shortly after it started, other audience members seated near Anand Kumar noticed something wrong. They saw him sitting completely motionless in his seat.

Concerned viewers immediately alerted the cinema hall management. The management then informed the local police about the situation.

Police Investigation and Case Registration

Police officers from the KPHB station responded to the call. KPHB Inspector S Raja Sekhar Reddy led the investigation at the scene.

"We suspect that he died of a heart attack," Inspector Reddy stated clearly. The police shifted the body for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

On the complaint of Anand Kumar's brother, the police registered a formal case. They filed it under section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).

Anand Kumar's Police Service Career

Inspector Reddy provided details about the deceased man's professional background. Anand Kumar began his career in law enforcement as an Armed Reserve constable.

He served with dedication over the years. He eventually retired from the Telangana Special Police. At retirement, he held the rank of assistant sub inspector.

The sudden death of the retired officer has shocked his family and the local community. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
