Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Labels Congress 'Tweet Master Party', Praises BJP's Governance
Saini: Congress Tweet Master, BJP Performer in Haryana

Haryana Chief Minister Contrasts Congress and BJP Approaches

In a sharp critique of the opposition, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has labeled the Congress as a "tweet master party" that thrives on rhetoric, while praising the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as a performer focused on governance. Speaking at a press conference in Chandigarh, Saini emphasized the stark differences between online noise and on-ground development.

Congress Reduced to Reactionary Politics, Says Saini

Saini strongly criticized the Congress for what he termed "irresponsible, half-baked, and misleading" politics, particularly regarding the Union Budget. He accused the opposition of opposing the budget without proper understanding, stating, "The Opposition has neither read nor understood the budget and is opposing it merely for the sake of opposition."

The Chief Minister highlighted that the budget presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government is designed to strengthen Viksit Bharat and benefits all 140 crore citizens, including 2.80 crore people in Haryana. He urged critics to wait for the complete presentation before making baseless allegations.

Internal Competition Within Congress Alleged

Saini suggested there is a competition within the Congress to please Rahul Gandhi the most. He referenced past statements by Gandhi, including remarks made during a visit to Kurukshetra where Gandhi questioned whether the Pandavas had imposed GST. Saini said such comments reflect the lack of seriousness in Congress leadership.

He dismissed claims that Haryana was missing from the Union Budget as "cheap and irresponsible politics," asserting that the Congress thrives on confrontation while the BJP prioritizes governance.

Budget Allocations and Development Focus

Comparing budget allocations, Saini pointed out that during Congress rule, agriculture received only Rs. 25,000 crore, whereas under PM Modi, it has increased to Rs. 1.62 lakh crore. He credited the Modi government's three budgets with significantly strengthening infrastructure and sparking nationwide discussions on development.

"Today, every citizen of the country is discussing development, even within Congress households, women are discussing how the country is progressing," Saini noted, underscoring the widespread impact of BJP policies.

BJP's Expanding Footprint and Leadership Praise

Saini praised the BJP's expansion under PM Modi's leadership, not only in Haryana but also in Punjab and West Bengal. He contrasted this with the Congress, which he said has no roadmap for development and has been rejected by the nation.

"Modi ji does not sleep; he worries about every section of society. Which section did Congress ever care for?" Saini questioned, highlighting the BJP's commitment to inclusive governance.

In summary, Saini's remarks reinforce the political divide, with the Congress portrayed as focused on social media theatrics and the BJP as delivering tangible development through structured policies and budget allocations.
