In a remarkable display of talent and innovation, three girl students from Belagavi have achieved national recognition by developing an artificial intelligence-based crop price forecasting tool. The team, named 'Robert Hook', secured a prestigious position among the top 10 teams at the National AI Future Skills Hackathon 2026, showcasing the potential of rural Karnataka's youth on a prominent national platform.

The winning team comprises Laxmi Irayya Hiremath, Archana Kalagouda Patil, and Meena Hanumant Dalawai, all students from Leelavati Venkatesh Karguppikar High School, formerly known as Agasagi High School.
