According to the complaint, the man first met a woman through social media platforms. Their initial friendship slowly developed into what the family describes as a "relationship." Problems began when the woman and her relatives started pressuring him to marry her.
Allegations of Threats and Extortion
The family claims the accused individuals frequently visited the man's shop to pressure him about marriage. When he refused their demands, they allegedly threatened to file false criminal cases against him.

These continuous threats and demands pushed the young man into severe mental distress. His relatives state he became increasingly troubled by the situation.
Further Complications Before the Suicide
In a disturbing turn of events, the woman allegedly staged her own suicide attempt by consuming an intoxicating substance. The family claims she did this to implicate the victim's relatives in legal problems.
Soon after this incident, the 28-year-old man consumed poison. He was rushed to a private hospital but could not be saved.
Police Investigation and Current Status
Izzatnagar Station House Officer Virendra Singh provided details about the case. He confirmed that some of the accused are family members of the woman, while others are her associates.
