Chennai: The Muthialpet police arrested two men and seized 800g of methamphetamine, two mobile phones, and a two-wheeler from them. Police have launched a hunt for the other absconding suspects linked to the drug network.
Based on a tip-off, a police team arrested J Abdul Jabbar, 42, near the junction of Mannady Street and Thambu Chetty Street on Wednesday morning. Police said he was found in possession of 100g of methamphetamine.
Based on information he provided, police arrested N Abdul Naser, 63, of Mannady. Police seized 700g of methamphetamine from him.

Investigators said Abdul Naser procured meth in bulk along with associates and supplied it to Abdul Jabbar for distribution and sale.
