Clash During Bakrid in UP Village: 57 Booked

A case has been registered against 57 individuals following a violent clash between two groups during Bakrid celebrations in Saindpur Imma village, located under the Naugawan Sadat police station area of Amroha district. The incident, which occurred in Bijnor division, involved stone-pelting that left several people injured, some critically. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

Old Rivalry Sparks Violence

According to police officials, the confrontation was fueled by an old rivalry between the two groups, which escalated during Eid-related activities. Tensions rose when certain individuals allegedly climbed onto rooftops and began hurling stones at each other, leading to widespread chaos in the village.

Legal Action Taken

The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against 22 named accused and 35 unidentified persons. Authorities are analyzing video footage and gathering other evidence to identify the remaining suspects involved in the clash.
