Rajkiya Engineering College Team Triumphs at Hack X with Youth 2026 Hackathon
The Neural Nova group from Rajkiya Engineering College in Kannauj emerged victorious, securing the top honor at the prestigious Hack X with Youth 2026 hackathon held on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Difikeer team from Kanpur University earned the runner-up position in this highly competitive event.

The hackathon was organized and hosted by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), drawing significant participation from aspiring technologists across the region. A total of over 250 applications were submitted for consideration, showcasing a remarkable level of interest and enthusiasm among students and young professionals.
Rigorous Selection and Evaluation Process
From the extensive pool of applicants, only 15 teams were selected to advance to the final round of the competition. The selection process was highly competitive, focusing on the teams' potential for innovation and technical prowess.
The jury, comprising experts from the fields of engineering and technology, meticulously evaluated each entry based on two key criteria:
- Innovation: The originality and creativity of the proposed solutions.
- Technical Approach: The feasibility, complexity, and implementation strategy of the projects.
Prizes and Recognition for Winners
In recognition of their outstanding performance, the winning team, Neural Nova, was awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000. The runner-up, Difikeer, received Rs 5,000. Both teams were also presented with certificates of recognition, honoring their achievements and contributions to the hackathon.
